The library will reopen for Spring Semester on Mon. Feb. 3rd @ 8:00 AM. You will be shelving library materials, assisting students using the printers and copiers, and working with library staff members on various special projects around the library. Flipster allows multiple users to view current and back-issues of the magazine page by page, all on a mobile-friendly platform. You can also download the Flipster app via the App Store. This pilot program was created and offered by Yale University Press. After careful consideration, we decided to not renew the subscription, due to low usage. We encourage students to continue using our popular Art and Architecture databases, such as JSTOR, LUNA Digital Images, and EBSCO Art & Architecture Source. We will continue to work with faculty, students, and vendors to provide quality resources for all researching needs. Thank you. -- As of May 3, 2019, AAU Library transitioned to a limited access model for Kanopy. Currently, there are 41 titles that are available to watch via Kanopy. For a list of complete titles, please click here . Kanopy's pricing model for libraries is based on the number of views per-title. Once a title has been viewed three times, the Library is charged an annual licensing fee per title. Due to popularity and high demand for this resource the Library could not continue to absorb the cost for the current level of Kanopy access. The Library will continue to work with Administration, faculty, and vendors in an attempt to provide quality streaming services for film and video content assigned in courses. Kanopy is available from many public libraries, including San Francisco Public Library, Oakland Public Library, and Berkeley Public Library. Students present their pieces, get judged by a panel of instructors and librarians, and have the chance to win cash prizes for their exceptional work and performances!
